Government of Sindh’s Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department has announced a major recruitment drive for uniformed permanent positions in the Narcotics Control Wing, including Narcotics Inspector (BPS-14) and Assistant Narcotics Inspector (BPS-11), under the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university, be aged 21–28 years, and meet physical standards including height (5’5″ for males, 5’2″ for females) and fitness tests such as a 1-mile run in 8 minutes for males or an 800-meter walk in 14 minutes for females. Applicants must have passed the STS (IBA Sukkur) Graduation Category General Screening Test with at least 40 marks, and quotas apply for Rural (60%), Urban (40%), Women (15%), and Minorities (5%).
