Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, invites applications for PSDP project “Change of Base of National Accounts From 2015-16 to 2025-26” for multiple positions. Candidates must hold Bachelor, Master degrees in Economics, Statistics, International Relations, or related fields from HEC-recognized universities, with experience ranging from 2–15 years depending on position.

Eligibility Criteria:

Research Economist

• Master’s/M.Phil/Ph.D in Economics; Master’s with 10 years experience (Ph.D relaxable by 4 years, M.Phil by 2 years); econometric software mandatory; PBS experience preferred

Research Economist (Modeling Specialist)

• Master’s in Economics with 15 years experience in economics research, forecasting, macroeconomic modeling (Ph.D relaxable by 4 years, M.Phil by 2 years)

Analyst (Modeling/Forecasting)

• Master’s in Economics/International Relations with 5 years experience in economic research, macroeconomic model-building, policy analysis; development sector/donor agency experience preferred

Analyst

• Master’s in Statistics/Economics/International Relations with 4 years experience (M.Phil with 2 years); 12 years experience desirable; excellent reporting and communication skills

Coordinator

• Master’s in Statistics/Economics/International Relations with 4 years experience (M.Phil with 2 years); 12 years experience desirable; development sector experience preferred

Senior Accountant

• B.Com/BCS with 10 years accounts experience (public/private sector); strong understanding of public sector account management

Assistant Accountant

• B.Com/B.A with at least 2 years accounts experience; computer literate
