Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) – Directorate General of Petroleum Concessions seeks applications for the position of Legal Advisor (01 post) on a contract basis (initial two years, extendable) in Islamabad. Candidates must hold a Master’s or equivalent degree in Law from an HEC-recognized institute (foreign qualification in Petroleum Laws, Policy, and Contracts preferred), with a minimum of 07 years of experience.

Qualification:Â Master’s or equivalent degree in Law from HEC-recognized institute (foreign qualification in Petroleum Laws, Policy, and Contracts preferred)

Experience:Â Minimum 07 years in-house, private practice, law firm, major industrial group, or government/corporate/autonomous bodies advising on international energy transactions (LNG/LPG business and supply chain preferred)

Knowledge:Â Sound knowledge of Pakistan’s petroleum legal framework (LNG & LPG sector), petroleum laws, rules, policies, relevant contracts, latest amendments
