University of the Punjab (PU) Lahore has announced that all applicants for undergraduate programs must appear in the mandatory PU Admission Test tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026. The admission test carries 25% weightage in the total merit calculation, and results from last year’s PU test are not valid for new admissions. The test fee is PKR 2,500 (non-refundable and non-transferable), and the test will be held in major cities across Pakistan. Online registration closes on May 25, 2026.

Students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or Equivalent / Grade 12 education

Students who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or Equivalent and are awaiting results
